I think of myself on most days as a fair and honest thinking person. It’s the way I like to be treated therefore it’s how I try to treat people I meet. With that in mind I thought I would make one more try to understand our Islamic brothers and sisters without painting them all with the “Terrorist Brush”. I didn’t say it would be easy but I’m willing to make the attempt one more time.
I’m a patriotic American and the anger than I hold inside myself is in response to terrorism in general and 9/11 in particular. It’s now been a dozen years since the 9/11 attacks and that anger hasn’t abated in the least. Let me go back to that time and explain.
I had just become unemployed when the company I worked for went bankrupt. I was sitting on my coach watching the entire attack from start to finish, unable to move or take my eyes from the screen. I wasn’t alone. there were millions of others doing the same damn thing.
A week of so later I decided to learn as much as I could about our new Islamic enemies and the alleged reasons for their actions. The first thing I did was to read the Koran from cover to cover. It’s much like the Bible and the Talmud where it’s intentionally written in such a way as to allow a lot of room for interpretation. I visited certain Islamic web-sites and read ream after ream of supposed religious quotations designed to entice non-thinking individuals into idiotic actions. I was confused almost immediately because almost none of what I was reading was found in the Koran as they claimed. As with some Christian sects, words from ancient texts were intentionally misquoted and corrupted and made to fit the extremist views of the writer.
Looking at history the Islamic culture at one time was the leader in almost everything including but not limited to the scientific, education, astronomy, and hundreds of others areas. They ruled most of the civilized world for centuries and did a pretty decent job of it. They were murderous and ruthless but so was everyone else including the Christians at that time.
Jump ahead to the present day and things have changed dramatically. They are no longer the “Big Dog” and anyone not with them must convert or die. It’s truly a moronic approach but it’s what the extremists have chosen. It should be stated clearly that worldwide they kill more of their own people than anyone else which I can’t even begin to understand.
The following quotations are Islamic proverbs which would be perfectly acceptable to almost anyone of any religion. Ninety percent of the Islamic people are hard working and only interested in leading a good life and raising their families, just like everyone else. These proverbs prove that for me. Read them for yourselves and decide.

Now that I’ve given them credit where it is due I must in good faith throw a huge and important criticism in their collective faces. Until the ninety percent of reasonable Muslim’s decide to stand up and denounce that extremist ten percent there can be no peace. I want to see the Islamic population of every little mosque on the planet take a stand against the murder of innocents for political gain. They continue to stay quiet because of their fear of retaliation from the extremists and at the same time insist on whining and crying about the bad treatment they receive from non-Muslims. You can’t have it both ways. Period. End of story.
We have an over abundance of street gangs in this country who’ve staked out certain areas of many communities as their "turf". Battles over "turf" seem stupid to me but so do many other gang related things. I’m really not interested in all of the excuses made by society that try to explain membership in these groups. I’m trying to understand how you can casually walk down the street and kill someone for no reason other than as part of an initiation rite for membership. And thanks once again to the History Channel for making it a regular program available to millions of our kids. Gangland is the show and it’s a damn disgrace.
The more I learn about gangs the less I understand. One thing I seem to hear quite often is the word "dis". He "dissed" me in front of my friends. He "dis"respected me so I came back later that night and shot him. As I was growing up I can honestly say I never heard that word ever used. It’s only in the last fifteen years that it seems to have become part of the lexicon in this country. How is it that a small innocuous three letter word has caused the deaths of so many. How is it that a small three letter word which has been in use for decades has been turned upside down and now becomes a reason to kill. Many words contain "dis" but don’t require deadly action to defend.

…discharged
…discouraged
…discriminate
…disenchanted
…dismembered
…distressed
…distrusted
None of these words need defending at the cost of a human life. Maybe it’s just a convenient excuse or rationalization by these gang members for committing violent acts. Maybe it eases someone’s guilt feelings by using the word to convince themselves their protecting their gang. Maybe it’s the gangs peer pressures and fear of exclusion that make a thirteen year old kid turn into a killer. It might even be fear of reprisals that force these violent acts to take place.
I must sound vaguely like some of the so called dumb-ass experts making excuses for their bad behavior. Maybe it just comes down to the basics. If you don’t like school, other people, the government, the police, your parents and you do like drugs, violence, murder, and prison. Your destined to be a gang member.
Believe me I have no answers to this problem but I’m sure sick to death of seeing it broadcast on TV over and over again. The program Gangland needs to be discontinued. In it’s own weird way it’s romanticizing the gangbanger way of life like nothing before. I can just see groups of gang members bragging it up that their gang was mentioned on TV and really showed the world what a bunch of bad asses they are. It’s probably one of their best recruiting tools these days and it costs them nothing at all.
Well today is the day when the ever-so-lame Earth Day is celebrated. I’ve never celebrated this day the same way I don’t recognize or celebrate Kwanza. All you "Greenies" out there can get as excited as you like today but not me or mine.
Her are a few facts about how Earth Day was started and by the POS who was responsible. Read and learn all you Green fools about one of your demi-gods who cared more for the planet than the life of an innocent women.
I’ve been around since the inception of Earth Day by Ira Einhorn and his half-assed hippy movement and while some of the initial ideas were valid concerning abuses of the environment it has now evolved into a semi-religious movement with goals and political aims that go way too far and are harming the country. Everything green becomes more important than life itself. The movement has no respect about another persons property rights, their jobs, or the devastating effect many of the stupid EPA laws have had on unsuspecting citizens and businesses.
As in any movement you must look at the leader for his ideas and credibility. Einhorn to me is just a stone-cold killer who thinks the laws of society don’t apply to him.
Ira Samuel Einhorn, a.k.a. “The Unicorn Killer” (born May 15, 1940), is a convicted murderer, and American activist of the 1960s and 1970s. He is now serving a life sentence for the 1977 murder of Holly Maddux.
How many Earth Days has “Holly Maddux” missed since she was beaten to death by Einhorn, stuffed into a trunk, and stuck in a closet. It took more than twenty years to find, arrest, return him to this country, and convict him.
To quote the murderer: “Underlying the themes of Earth Day is a call for mankind to align itself with nature, and against itself, enlisting human beings to take part in a battle that seeks to place humanity under the control of an enlightened elite, one that values the interests of nature above that of people.

IRA EINHORN’S DIRTY LITTLE SECRET
I’ve really been trying to keep the political ranting to a minimum since starting this new blog but January seems like a good month to relax and begin asking more uncomfortable questions that the Government would prefer not to answer. I spent a year and a half attempting to spread the word to anyone who would listen about how dangerous the government has become and about Obama and the liberals in particular. After seeing the results of the last election I realized I was trying to inform people of things they would rather ignore or deny.
I think our country is spiraling downward and will come to an ignominious end at some point in the future. The comparisons to the Roman Empire are many and scary as hell. I won’t get into the dirty little details because this blog posting will then be a little too long for most people who these days require only “sound bites”. I’ll no longer waste my time in trying enlightening anyone but I will continue to ask the questions I think need to be answered.
Being as old as I am, I figure I won’t alive long enough to see the anarchy boiling beneath the surface in this country explode . I know it’s there and God help the people who refuse to see it or choose to ignore it. I’m going to ask you a few questions now and I don’t really expect any answers. Just read them and think about them if your one of the few people left who still attempts to do that.
Why do you think smoking Pot is legal and widely accepted but smoking tobacco is treated like a criminal offense?
Why is it that you can get arrested for expired tags on your car but not for being in the country illegally?
Why can a seven year old boy can be thrown out of school for calling his teacher "cute" but hosting sexual exploration classes in grade schools is perfectly acceptable?
Why are children forcibly removed from parents who appropriately discipline them while children of "underprivileged" drug addicts are left to rot in filthy infested cesspools?
Why are hard working and successful citizens rewarded with higher taxes and Government intrusion, while improper and lazy behavior is rewarded with EBT cards (Food Stamps), WIC checks, Medicaid, subsidized housing, and free cell phones?
Those were five questions no Liberals, Democrats, or Obama’s want to answer. Even sadder there are no Conservatives, no Republicans, and no Independents that will answer them either. Here’s five more conundrums for you think and worry about.
Why is the government’s plan for getting people back to work to provide 99 weeks of unemployment checks (to not work)?
Why is being self-sufficient considered a threat to the government?
Why do our politicians think that stripping away the amendments to the Constitution is really protecting the rights of the people?
Why is murder of any sort prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law but hundreds of thousands of government sponsored abortions are overlooked?
Why is using the "N" word (by any non-black citizen) considered "hate speech" but writing and singing songs about raping women and killing cops is considered an "art form"?
Now I’ve given you ten scenarios that are cause for any thinking individual to question this government and the politician hypocrites who are running it. Are you asking these questions of your local politicians? I’d better hurry and finish my list before I become violently ill and have to stop.
Why do the rights of the Government come before the rights of the Individual?
Why is it possible for an 80 year old woman to be stripped searched by the TSA but a Muslim woman in a burka is only subject to having her neck and head searched?
Why is being stripped of your ability to defend yourself making you "safer"?
Why is a parent’s signature required to go on a school field trip but not to get an abortion?
Why are working class American’s required to pay for their own health care (and the Health care of everyone else) while unmarried women are free to have child after child on the "State’s" dime while never being held accountable for their own bad choices?
I’ve ranted as much as I can on these subjects for years and to no avail. When the “inmates are running the asylum’” how much “Hope for Change” can we expect?
