03/16/2024 “Rainy Day Humor”   Leave a comment

It’s another gray and rainy day here in Maine. We had a bit of sunshine yesterday and I had my first hour of deck time without freezing my ass off. But unfortunately, today things have returned to what is normal for March. I just needed something today to make me smile and these jokes were just what the doctor ordered so I thought I’d share them with you.

😁😁😁

A trucker had driven his fully loaded rig to the top of a steep hill and was just starting down the equally steep other side when he noticed a man and woman lying naked in the center of the road, making love. He blew his horn several times as he was bearing down on them. Realizing that they were not about to get out of his way, he slammed on his brakes and stopped just inches from them. Getting out of the truck, madder than hell, the trucker walked up to the two, still in the road, and yelled, “What the hell’s the matter with you two? Didn’t you hear me blowing my horn? You could’ve been killed!” The man on lying on the highway, obviously satisfied and unconcerned, looked up and said, “Look, I was coming, she was coming, and you were coming. You were the only one with brakes.”

😹😹😹

Q. How do you get four old ladies to shout “Fuck”?

A. Get a fifth old lady to shout “Bingo”.

The rescue squad was called to the home of an elderly couple for an apparent heart attack. When the squad got there it was too late because the man had died. While consoling the wife, one of the rescuers noticed that their bed was a mess. He asked the lady what symptoms the man had suffered and if anything had precipitated the heart attack. The lady calmly replied, “Well, we were in bed making love and he started moaning, groaning, thrashing around the bed, panting, and sweating. I thought he was coming, but I guess he was going.”

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Q. How do you make 5 pounds of fat look good?

A. Put a nipple on it.

πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰πŸ˜‰

Two guys are camping. They are having a little conversation, when all of a sudden one guy yells, “I just got bitten by a snake on the tip of my penis.” The other guy says, “Don’t worry, I’ll go into town and ask a doctor what to do.” So, the guy goes to the nearest town and after 30 minutes finds a doctor. He asks the doctor, “Doctor, my friend just got bitten by a snake. What should I do?” The doctor says, “All you have to do is suck the poison out.” So, the friend returns to the campsite where his friend is lying on the ground whimpering. He asks, “So what did the doctor say?” The friend says, “I’m sorry but the doctor says you’re going to die!

Q. What’s the ultimate rejection?

A. When you’re masturbating and your hand falls asleep.

03/12/2024 πŸ’₯πŸ’₯Virgin Limerick AlertπŸ’₯πŸ’₯   Leave a comment

Today I’d like to talk about virgins and virginity. Whether we like it or not there aren’t as many virgins available as there once were. Back in the day virginity was prized by almost everyone but I think those days have passed us by forever. I’m reminded of a joke I heard a few years ago that the only virgins left were “ugly third graders”. It was funny at the time but the more I thought about it the more unfunny it became. I’ve been around a very long time and my experience with virgins is damn near nonexistent. With the advent of “soaking” (thanks to those devote Mormons), I’m not entirely sure if the term virginity even applies anymore. Since I admittedly have no clue about virginity, I thought I’d revert to my library for some soulful inspiration. My first choice when diving into my library is always limericks. Here are four limericks concerning virginity or the lack thereof. Enjoy!

πŸ’₯

There was a young fellow named Biddle

Whose girl had to teach him to fiddle.

She grabbed hold of his bow

And said, “If you want to know,

You can try parting my hair in the middle.”

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

There was a young virgin of Dover

Who was screwed in the woods by a drover.

When the going got hard

He greased her with lard,

Which felt nice, so they started all over.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

There was a young girl from Hoboken

Who claimed that her hymen was broken

From riding a bike

On a cobblestone pike,

But it really was broken from pokin’.

πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯πŸ’₯

There was a young girl named McKnight

Who got drunk with her boyfriend one night.

She came to in bed

With a split maidenhead –

That’s the last time she ever was tight.

As anyone who reads this blog knows I love limericks. I love the mild ones written by kids and for kids, the medium ones for many of the limerick loving adults who shy away from many of the naughtier limericks, and occasionally I get in the mood to post something a little raunchier. My favorite limerick writer has always been Isaac Azimov but one of his close friends deserved an honorable mention today. That friend was John Ciardi who for 16 years was the poetry editor for the Saturday Review and his translation of The Divine Comedy is still considered a classic. Sadly, he passed away in 1986 but his works and love of limericks lives on. Enjoy.

There once was a girl who intended

To keep herself morally splendid

And ascend unto glory,

Which is not a bad story

Except that that’s not how it ended.

🀣🀣🀣

There was a promoter named Hugh,

Who promoted a dance called The Screw.

Disco by disco

From New York to Frisco

He made it the in-thing to do.

😎😎😎

There was a young lady named Mame,

Whose parents believed it a shame

To reject all the beaus

Who came round to propose.

But she didn’t. That’s not why they came.

😏😏😏

My professor of sex claimed he knew

A hundred and one things to do.

My girlfriend ain’t much

At book learning, as such,

But she knows at least a hundred and two.

There seem to be a few of you out there who continue to request a selection of down&dirty limericks. I’m feeling a little down&dirty myself today, so I’ll bow to the pressure and offer up a few.

πŸ˜…πŸ˜…πŸ˜…

There was a young lady named Eva

Who filled up her bath to receive her.

She took off her clothes,

From her head to her toes,

And a voice through the keyhole yelled, “Beaver!”

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

There was a young harlot at Yale,

With her Price List tattooed on her tail.

And on her behind,

For the sake of the blind,

She had it emblazoned in Braille.

🀣🀣🀣

A cheerful young golfer, named Jock,

Gave his ball a three-hundred-yard sock.

It doesn’t sound far

For a chap that shoots par,

But twas done with the end of his cock.

😁😁😁

A mathematician named Eddie Hall,

Has a hexahedronal ball.

The cube of its weight

Times his pecker, plus eight,

Is his phone number – so give him a call!

For months I’ve been posting a collection of rather tame limericks written by and for children and young adults. While I certainly enjoy them, I still miss the naughtier limericks that I find absolutely hilarious. It’s true than many limericks are really crude and nasty but be sure those will never see the light of day on this blog. For today these limericks are:

RATED PG

Parental Guidance is Recommended

*****

In the Garden of Eden lay Adam,

Complacently stroking his madam.

And loud was his mirth

For on all of the earth

There were only two balls and he had’em.

😍😍😍

There was a young fellow from Leeds

Who swallowed a package of seeds.

Great tufts of long grass

Sprouted out of his ass

And his balls were all covered with weeds.

πŸ˜›πŸ˜›πŸ˜›

There once was an old man from Maine

Whose prick was as strong as a cane.

It was almost as long,

So he strolled with his dong

Extended in in sunshine and rain.

😎😎😎

There’s a charming young girl in Tobruk

Who refers to her quiff as a nook.

It’s deep and it’s wide,

You could curl up inside

With a nice easy chair and a book.

I’ve been trying for days to post something but these damn storms are screwing up almost everything. Our power and internet returned today after 24 hours of silence and I wanted to post before the next catastrophe arrives.

*****

It feels good to be back to some semblance of normalcy. My first post-op inspection revealed my poor fractured ankle is on the mend. The doctor assures me that only five more weeks of a walker and wheelchair and I should be good to go. That news eases the pressure a little and makes getting back to this blog a little easier. I’ll be happy to provide a few limericks today to make you smile as little.

❀

A lisping young lady named JoBeth

Was saved from a fate worse than death.

Seven times in a row,

Which unsettled her so

That she quit saying “No” and said “Yeth.”

πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

Therre was a young fellow named Goody

Who claimed that he wouldn’t, but would he?

If he found himself nude

With a gal in the mood,

The questions not woody, but could he?

😁😁😁

There once was a young lady of Arden,

The tool of whose swain wouldn’t harden.

Said she with a frown,

“I’ve been sadly let down,

By the tool of a fool in a garden.”

😜😜😜

A flatulent nun of Hawaii

One Easter eve supped on papaya,

Then honored the Passover

By turning her ass over

And obliging with Handel’s Messiah.

I dedicate these limericks to all of the nurses I’ve known in my life and there’ve been a few. If there was ever a group that enjoyed naughty and lewd limericks, it’s them. Enjoy, all of you so-called nurse lovers.

πŸ†πŸ†πŸ†

An amorous writer of versus,

Was especially enamored of nurses.

But he found each advance.

In pursuit of romance

Met only with starchy reverses.

😷😷😷

A rosy cheeked nurse, from Dunellen,

Whom the Hoboken sailors called Helen,

In her efforts to please

Has spread social disease,

From New York to the Straits of Magellan!

πŸ€•πŸ€•πŸ€•

There was a young nurse named Prentice,

Who had an affair with a dentist.

To make things easier,

He used anesthesia,

And diddled her, non-compos mentis.

πŸš‘πŸš‘πŸš‘

An unfortunate nurse named Randall,

Hs the clap such as doctors can’t handle.

So, this forlorn young floozy

With her poor damaged coosie,

Must resume her delight with a candle.

🦽🦽🦽

A virginal nurse name of Lynne,

Shouted thus just before she gave in.

“It isn’t the deed,

Or the fear of the seed,

But that big worm that shedding its skin!”

I know I’ve been promising a post of really extreme limericks. I’ve hesitated because of the kids who might read this blog when their parents aren’t paying attention. Some limericks are written just for kids, funny ones for everyone, suggestive ones for others, and then comes the dirty, naughty, extra naughty, and last but not least the downright filthy. I’ve been taking this process slowly until I can find a way to post the really filthy ones but until then I’ll give you a few naughty ones to wet your limerick whistles.

😏😏😏

There was a young man from Dumfries

Who said to his girl “please,

It would give me great bliss

If, while playing with this,

You would pay some attention to these.

😜😜😜

An old archaeologist, Throstle,

Discovered a marvelous fossil.

He knew from its bend

And the knob at the end,

T’was the peter of Paul the Apostle.

🀩🀩🀩

There was a young fellow named Menzies

Whose kissing sent girls into frenzies.

But a virgin, one night,

Crossed her legs in a fright,

And fractured his bi-focal lenzies.

🀣🀣🀣

A gay man who lived in Khartoum

Took a lesbian up to his room.

They argued a lot

About who should do what,

And quite how and with what and to whom.

I thought today was the perfect time for your weekly dose of limericks. Today’s selection is categorized as “Little Romances”. I hope you like them.

I wooed a stewed nude in Bermuda,

I was lewd, but my God! she was lewder.

She said it was crude

To be wooed in the nude,

I pursued her, subdued her, and screwed her.

1882

There was a young sailor from Brighton

Who remarked to his girl, “you’re a tight one.”

She replied, “Pon my soul,

You’re in the wrong hole.

There’s plenty of room in the right one.”

A lady while dining at Crewe

Found an elephant’s whang in her stew.

Said the waiter, “Don’t shout,

And don’t wave it about,

Or the others will all want one too.”

JUDGE REARRESTS LIMERICK ADDICT

After requesting limericks from readers yesterday I really didn’t expect too much of a response. Much to my surprise at 1:15 am I received the following limerick from an anonymous reader. The email was a one liner, “Here’s my favorite feminist limerick.” And here it is just as received:

There was young lady of Wheeling

Who professed a lack of sexual feeling.

But a cynic named Boris

Just touched her clitoris,

And she had to be scraped off the ceiling.

I love anything that makes me laugh out loud and this limerick did. I’m not sure who exactly emailed it, but it has a definite female feel. What do you think?

And to end this post on a fun note, a happy yet stupid newspaper headline.

Astronaut Takes Blame for Gas in Spacecraft

(Space gas . . . who knew?)
